No. Guests download Butlr once. At each venue they visit, they connect via QR or access code — no new sign-up, no new password.
Can Butlr work alongside our existing operations?+
Yes. Butlr layers on top of however you run today. WhatsApp groups, phone calls, manual logs — replaced gradually as your team moves to the portal. No big-bang migration required.
How long does setup take?+
3–5 days for boutique properties. 7–14 days for full hotels and resorts. Elite and Enterprise tiers include dedicated onboarding.
Can multiple departments use it at once?+
Yes — that’s the point. Housekeeping, kitchen, concierge, valet, spa, and front desk each get their own view. Requests route automatically based on type and room.
Do I need special hardware?+
No. Phones, iPads, and existing computers are enough. Printed QR codes for rooms and tables are the only physical artefacts.
Can I enable only selected services?+
Yes. Every module — dining, spa, laundry, transport, concierge, marketplace — is independently togglable from the portal.
Can I disable marketplace services?+
Absolutely. Marketplace is opt-in per venue. Run Butlr venue-only with zero external partners, and turn it on whenever you choose.
What happens after approval?+
Our team walks you through profile setup, menu configuration, staff invitations and your first test guest. You receive a Venue Portal login and printable QR codes the same day.
Do guests need a new app for every hotel?+
No. Guests use one Butlr app across all participating venues. Their preferences, allergies, language and history follow them everywhere.
Does Butlr take commission from hotel services?+
No. Standard venue-owned services (room service, housekeeping, laundry, spa, concierge) are managed by the venue and Butlr takes no commission. Commission only applies to third-party marketplace bookings unless otherwise agreed.
Can a venue use Butlr without integrations?+
Yes. Phase 1 works without PMS integration. Venues can manage rooms, staff, services, and requests directly from the portal. PMS connectors are optional and roll out per request.

Can we customize services?+
Yes. Every module (dining, spa, laundry, housekeeping, concierge, transport, etc.) is independently configurable. Add your own menu items, prices, response time targets and department routing. Elite and Enterprise tiers include custom branding.
Does Butlr support payments?+
Yes. Charge-to-room (folio) is supported on all tiers. Direct in-app payments, tipping and marketplace commissions are supported on Professional and above.
Can we manage staff?+
Yes. The Venue Portal includes staff accounts with roles (admin, manager, department staff), live presence, request assignment and per-staff performance tracking.
Can we upgrade packages later?+
Anytime. Upgrade or downgrade from the Venue Portal. Changes are pro-rated against your current billing cycle. New features unlock instantly.
Can Butlr support multiple venues?+
Yes. Multi-property management is included on Enterprise. Each property gets its own portal while sharing a unified analytics layer and centralized billing.
